The Jetson Orin offers the "cool" fan profile, controlled by nvfancontrol based on predefined temperature thresholds. In Jetson Orin series the fan profile is set to “cool” by default.

The “cool” profile, for example, activates the fan at 50°C and deactivates at 32°C, using the framework Hysteresis to minimize frequent speed changes.
