How to use the Debug Port on the Jetson platform for debugging

  • Connect the USB side of the debug cable to an x86 system (Windows or Linux).​

  • Download PuTTY or any software tool that can open a UART port.​

  • Connect the TXD / RXD / GND pins of the USB debug cable to the debug port of your Jetson platfrom.​

  (Please refer to the user manual for the location of the debug port for different model.)​

  • Use PuTTY to open the serial port of the USB debug cable.​
    *The baud rate is 115200.
